Commercial and residential property and housing

Experienced in Negotiations

During my time at Bovis Lend Lease, I had sole responsibility for the company leases for the entire period of being with them. Some of these involved complex drafting and negotiation with specialist commercial property law firms.

I have dealt with the drafting and negotiation of head and sub-leases, negotiation and drafting of rent reviews and forfeiture clauses, negotiation and drafting of break clauses, negotiation and drafting of variation agreements in respect of head and sub-leases, negotiation of dilapidations and termination of leases.

Commercial Litigation

Over the course of this period, I have routinely negotiated and completed numerous commercial leases, site licences and lease agreements, often in intense and demanding circumstances and within extremely strict deadlines.

In practice as a Barrister, I have appeared in court in Landlord and Tenant disputes including in injunction hearings arising from breaches of leases. I have dealt with residential leases and Housing disrepair cases for a local authority in the County Court and Magistrates Courts.
